While working with Apex Magazine, I provided input for Issue 150 as well. For this issue, I worked closely with Rebecca, the managing editor, to pick two flash fiction contest winners for the month of April. I praised “Changeling” highly, and Rebecca ultimately decided on “Changeling” as the second winner due to my commentary.

I made copy edits for the two flash pieces which both appeared in this issue. Additionally, Rebecca and Leslie Conner, the editor-in-chief for the magazine, asked me to write a piece about my experiences as an intern and about working with the team.
